| In the 1980’s, Stuart W. Patenaude thought that there had to be a better way to throw doubles targets. Stuart went to work in his modest workshop. Using parts from an old AMC Pacer and over a year of development, he created the first Pat-Trap® Automatic Doubles Machine. Since that first machine we have strived to continuously improve and engineer the finest traps. Thousands of traps later, Pat-Trap® has emerged as the new standard for the sport of Trapshooting, and is the official supplier to the ATA Home grounds.
Our standard Automatic Pat-Trap® throws both single and double targets. Our Pat-Trap® Wobble version throws singles, doubles, wobble singles, and wobble doubles.

With today's ever increasing array of state and insurance regulations, the Pat-Trap® will pay for itself in no time. No personnel in the trap house means safety and savings. Double scores can increase due to the ease and convenience of changing from singles to doubles in seconds allowing more practice time. The Pat-Trap® can make shooting more enjoyable and economical.
The Pat-Trap® fits ATA regulation trap houses. Pat-Trap®’s no-nonsense design is simple to operate, maintain, and easy to load. The standard turret (magazine) holds four full cases of targets (540+) and an optional side loading turret is available.
The vibration free Pat-Trap® features commercial grade, heavy duty steel construction, sealed ball and roller bearings, and olite bushings. It is fully adjustable for wind-age and elevation.
The Pat-Trap® uses 110 volts AC. The Pat-Trap® is compatible with most voice release systems thus eliminating the need for pullers.
